Do you eat when you are not hungry? Do you have difficulty stopping once you start eating? Do you find yourself preoccupied with food?

Have you ever self-induced vomiting, starved yourself, taken laxatives or

diet pills, or used other extreme measures to loose weight?

Do you have a negative body image or an intense fear of gaining weight?

These are all symptoms of an eating disorder. Both men and women struggle with this problem. If it is not treated, it can become chronic and, eventually, life threatening. Therapy, as well as medical consultation, is often necessary for proper treatment.

Eating disorders are often a symptom of underlying emotional problems. Therapy can help.
